Joy Ravelli is the founder and Executive Director of the Purusha Seva Project, the Community Purusha Yoga Studio and the Purusha Yoga School.  Her school specializes in Yoga Therapy and serving community. Her non profit work has provided yoga therapy to the San Francisco County Jail, San Quentin State Prison, The San Francisco VA Health Care System, Richmond Adult Mental Services, and the San Francisco Neighborhood Centers, Senior Services, Parks and Recreation and the San Francisco Unified School District.  Joy has been teaching yoga for over 30 years. Joy is known for her down to earth humor and welcoming demeanor.  Joy connects easily and in an entertaining way with a wide range of audiences.  She recognizes, embraces and connects with the truth that exists in each individual and throughout all of us.
