Join Melanie Klein, Amara Miller and Zubin Shroff for a joint presentation and discussion that examines the intersection of media representation and the commodification of yoga with the lack of diverse imagery in contemporary yoga culture. Related topics to be discussed include cultural appropriation, media literacy education and spiritual justice. Not only will this presentation explore *why* the current paradigm needs to be changed, but *how* it can be changed to one that is diverse, inclusive and equitable.

Due to an illness in the family, Melanie Klein is unable to attend the conference.  Amara Miller and Zubrin Shroff will be leading the Representation Matters presentation on her behalf.  To make up for her absence, Melanie has graciously extended VIP access to a webinar she will be hosting to AYC attendees.  More details to come!  Om shanti.
